All jewelry is sterling silver and hand-smithed by Sarah Mann.  She uses a patina on the pieces to bring out the textures of the metal and add depth to the details.  

Surface treatments include sanding disk, mizzy (a rotating stone drawn across the metal to create striations), imprinted textures or simply lightly brushed.  

The patina sits in the recesses of the various textures to better define them while the smooth surfaces remain bright.  The resulting contrasts of dark and light, matt and shiny give Sarah's jewelry a distinctive richness.
